little red riding hood.

This fairytale is quite famous. But did you ever thought about a modern meaning of it? Once it was a story told by women...for other women. The red hood was a sign of adolescence, the granny is a metaphor for the female self-determination, the wolf is represented in the guy, the stones in his stomach can be interpreted as a remorse...and so on. Finally a very complex story, I got this a few days before Christmas in a semiotics lecture at the university (thanks Mr. S., your lectures are more exciting than each damn movie!) and was so fascinated by this interpretation, that I HAD to made some graphics!

f-f-farrago

I still found an old work of mine, last year I created this postcard I guess.
You know this? Your head turns out so much chaos, a real farrago, but this is the beginning of creating something very beautiful. But finally, the best things are those, which seemed to be almost impossible... Isn't it?

Too late.

Too late for writing poems, I guess that this one is very "me", hope you like it.

Another brick, you know.

Sketch for my whitest wall. I had the idea to create a giant collage...We'll see if I'll have the condition to hang in there!

weird technology.

I'm looking forward to the day, when I'll be able to scan my sketches. And my photos. And all those things I create every day, usually analogue.
I was living in Paris you know (photos later I promise), a few weeks (or probably months?) ago I moved to Berlin, and that's where I'm working right now. There's a big input and I really want to show you some results but, you know, ain't no damn technology.
But I created a logo for a holiday house at the baltic sea. Nothing special, nothing illustrative, but something to show.

here we go magic

Usually I like graphic work and photography, you know. But sometimes we have to stop going round in circles and therefore, I tried to produce a sculpture. I gained some experiences in pottery, but that's it. There was this art workshop a month ago and I took the time to work with gypsum the first time in my life (actually the first time, I still remember). This is the result.

PS:  I'm in Paris right now for a few weeks. So guys, look forward to my return, I take a lot of photos and also made some sketches!

Obsessions everywhere.

Obsessive communication...everywhere, it drives me crazy, I promise. Often I create something and of course it has a meaning, but I draw and photograph in order to NOT USE language (in general) and so I'm tired of explaining the sense to all those art profs at the university. I'm sure that one of them would say, that this one is superficial, naive, white-bread and so on. But I got my art college place in Berlin yet, so I'm free to create "superficial" things like that. Haha.

spark of summer.

Probably, I was quite productive this weekend. There was a spark of summer yesterday, when I sat in my car driving in a southward direction.

My personal attempt to escape. [pencil, photoshop]

Girls and boys, it's time to break out. Out of what? Please...make an educated guess. Look out of the window, I'm sick of rain and cold weather!

cuckoo. ink+ copic markers.

Nothing special. I just bought some new copic markers and tested them. The original isn't as blotchy as the scan, the coloured circles look terrible...But I really like this old yellowed paper, it's a pity that you have to wait for this effect such a long time.

Praktica L2 reprints of an average slide film

Although the negatives (which are positive in fact) are quite normal, the reprints are pieced together in a strange way, it looks like a photomontage or as if the film wasn't well transported.Whatever... Photos taken in Berlin!

ink + copic markers. jan/10

I got to know an Afghan student who told me some stories about his country and I was really surprised cause his point of view was completey different to this one submitted by the German media. Surprising and shocking as well.

hey hey pony run!

Blog... I often heard about this kind of an online diary, but there was no reason to have an own one. I'm not sure if all the people around the world have to know about my private life, who I am and what crazy things I'm doing when I'm drunken. But after months I recognized that "blog" might be also a portfolio - for me (in order to keep track of things!) or some people, who are tickled pink when they watch me leaving home in order to discover this crazy world with my camera and my felt tip pens.
Hey hey, pony run!

Do you mind if I sing?
